About Deoria Tal Trek

Deoriatal is a beautiful freshwater lake situated at an altitude of 2400 meters, which diameter is about to 800 meters. This lake is considered to be a holy lake behind which the story of Mahabharata period. After a beautiful trek of 2.5 Km from Sari Village, one can reach to this pristine. This trek is a little steep in the beginning, but after the steep climb, the trek become easier and passes through the forest of oak and rhododendron, so this trek has been kept in the category of easy trek.

Day One: Rishikesh/Haridwar to Sari Village and Trek to Deoriatal-

• Route: Haridwar – Rishikesh – Devprayag – Srinagar – Rudraprayag – Agastyamuni – Kund –Ukhimath – Chopta base Camp and Resort
• Duration: 7-9 hours
• Distance: 187km

Day Two: Trekking to Chopta – Tungnath – Chandrashila (5 Km Trek) and Stay in Your base camp and Resort.

• Route: Chopta –Tungnath Temple– Chandrashila Summit – Chopta (Return)
• Duration: 4 hours
• Distance: 5 Km

• CLOTHES- Warm clothes like windproof jackets, fleece/full sleeve sweater, thermals Innerwear, woolen cap and socks, mittens and scarf.Some Light and comfortable clothes like tee-shirts, trousers or tracks pants


• SHOES & SOCKS- Comfortable trekking or hiking shoes, at least 3 pairs of warm socks and 2 Cotton socks.


• SKIN CARE ESSENTIALS- Sunglasses with 100 % UV protection, Lip Balm, Sunscreen Lotion, Moisturizer,Water bottles


• MEDICINES- All required basic medications (or prescribed if any)
