We offer this special combo trips which mix of both Rafting in Ganga and trekking in Himalaya For those who have little time but want to gain the maximum in a short period. Chopta -Chandrashila top Trek and Rafting in river Ganga is the shortest combo trip we can offer. It can be completed in 6 days and is nice and easy giving you a fare share of both the experiences in a week’s time. In the first three days of trekking we will cover Chopta and Chandrashila, Deoria tal. We do rafting in Ganga in Rishikesh (9 or 14 Km).

Day One: Rishikesh
/Haridwar – Chopta

  • Route: Haridwar – Rishikesh – Devprayag – Srinagar – Rudraprayag – Agastyamuni – Kund –Ukhimath – Chopta base Camp and Resort

 

Day Two: Basecamp – Chopta – Tungnath (3680 Mts/12070 Ft) – Chandrashila (4090 Mts/13415 Ft) – Chopta – Base camp

Day Three: Your base Camp Chopta -Sari – Deoriatal (2438 Mts/7998 Ft) – Night Stay At your base camp deoria tal

  • Route:Chopta – Sari Village – Deoria Tal (Trek)

 

Day Four: Trek down to Sari Village from Deoria Tal and back to Rishikesh/ Haridwar

    Details Itinerary

    Day One: Rishikesh /Haridwar – Chopta

    Description: Chopta is approximately 220 Kms from Haridwar and -190 kms from Rishikesh with a travel duration of 7 to 8 hours. The road to Chopta runs along Ganga & Alaknanda Rivers before turning into the Mandakini valley in Rudraprayg .On arrival at Chopta base camp guest are served with welcome refreshment. During Evening hours one can take a walk at Camp’s Grassland for acclimatization or near By Places for a short walk.Chopta base camp offers all weather proof Swiss camps for Night stay at the destination.

    Day Two: Basecamp – Chopta – Tungnath (3680 Mts/12070 Ft) – Chandrasila (4090 Mts/13415 Ft) – Chopta -Basecamp

    On day 2nd post breakfast one has to drive down to Chopta base to start trek for Tungnath and Chandrashila this complete trek is approximately 5kms to Chopta base.
    Tungnath temple is the highest Shiva temple in the world and is at a trek distance of 3.5 kms which can be covered in 3hrs.The complete trek is covered with lush green meadows and one can see the entire range of snow clad Himalayas.
    After reaching Tungnath one can enjoy the view of snow clad Himalayan ranges and after a little refreshment can move further for Chandrashila which is at an altitude of 4100 mts above see level and one can enjoy the 180 degree panoramic view of Himalayas.

    Day Three:Basecamp -Sari – Deoriatal (2438 Mts/7998 Ft) – Night Stay At The Basecamp Deoria Tal

    Post breakfast at camp and after driving a short distance to Sari which is about 13kms one can trek to Devariyatal. The trek distance is 3kms through dense forest of Rhododendron (Burans ) and lots of wild flowers and ferns. Trek to Deoriatal/Devariyatal takes you to an emerald lake perched at an elevation of 2,438 mts above sea level. During early morning on a clear day, Deoriatal blesses the travellers with reflections of Chaukhamba peaks on its crystal clear water. At Deoriatal one can experience the best of two worlds, the first one being the real world and the other one being the reflection of the beautiful surroundings on the lake.Chopta Tour also provides you overnight shelter at Doriya Tal

    Day Four:Devariyatal To Sari And Back To Rishikesh/Haridwar

    After early breakfast at Basecamp Deoria Tal one can trek to Sari and from there drive to Rishikesh/Haridwar.
    You can spend some quality time camping in Rishikesh or stay overnight in cottages/hotels.

    Day Five:Rafting & Tour End

    After breakfast, head to indulge in the most famous activity in Rishikesh, i.e. white water rafting.
    Rafting in the Ganges is an amazing experience as Rishikesh has te excellent rafting rapids. After this thrilling activity Tour End.
