Chopta Valley comes under the Kedarnath wildlife sanctuary and has acclaimed the attraction of bird lovers all around the world. The valley is known for over 200 species of birds specially for Monal & Koklas. Even migrated birds can be seen in the valley. The bird watching can be explored all round the year except from June end to September mid.

Day One: Haridwar To Chopta (210Km)-

  • Route: Haridwar – Rishikesh – Devprayag – Srinagar – Rudraprayag – Agastyamuni – Kund –Ukhimath – Chopta base Camp and Resort

  • Route: Chopta – ukhimath – Makku Bend
  • Day Three: Tungnath trek

  • Day Four: Chopta, Dhodi Dhar & Mandal

  • Route:Chopta – Dhodi Dhar –Mandal
  • Day Five: Kakra Gaad, Bansbara and Ukhimath.

    Day One: Haridwar To Chopta (210Km)-

    Description: Haridwar / Rishikesh ( at 7.00 AM ) in the morning . It’s about to 210 from Haridwar and -190 km from Rishikesh and 7- 8 hour journey along with Ganga & Alaknanda river before truing into the mandakini vallay in Rudraprayg up to base Camp Chopta . After Reached at base Camp we will serve the Welcome Refreshment for you and then in the Evening you can take a walk at Camp’s Grassland for acclimatization or near By Places for a short walk. Night stay in Swiss Camps.

    Day Two: Makku Bend, makku Farm & around.

    We will wake up early in the morning start birding around base camp & Duggale Bittha and after breakfast around Makku bend, we may greet by Himalayan Bulbuls, Streaked Laughing thrushes, Grey Bushchats, etc according to season.

    Day Three:Tungnath trek

    Today we will do birding at on the way to Tungnath Trek (with packed lunch) & trek down from different route to Bulkana and birding around the trek. Night Stay at Bulkana Chopta.

    Day Four:Chopta , Dhodi dhar & mandal

    Morning birding at Chopta, and dhodi dhar and Lunch at Dodhidhar and Post lunch birding around mandal & Dhodi Dhar. Night stay at Mandal .

    Day Five:Kakra Gaad, Bansbara and Ukhimath.

    Whole day birding- around kakra gaad, Bansbara & Ukhimath and Night Stay at Ukhimath.

    Day Six:Ukhimath to Rishikesh

    Today after Breakfast transfer to Rishikesh/Haridwar.
