Chopta Hill Station vs Chopta Village by Google

Chopta Village (It is a small town, has many government offices like a gov. bank, post office, Intermediate school, etc.) and Chopta Hill station (know as a mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand) are two different places with the same name in Rudraprayag District. And when people search on google about Chopta hill station from where the trek to Tungnath and Chandrashila trek starts, they get the result of Chopta village which is about to 20 km from Rudraprayag District headquarter and The Chopta – Tungnath Hill Station is about to 70km from Rudraprayag.

Why Google Recognize the Chopta Village, not to Chopta Hill Station?

Google recognizes the Chopta village only because it has many government offices here and the Chopta Hill station has nothing to recognize as a place ( It is a Part of KWS and has forest and Medows).

Many tourists get confused because the Google map does not show the right one. And they also confused even about the reaching time to Chopta and start their journey 2 hours late.
