Atri Muni Fall is a 70 mts waterfall located Near Chopta, Uttarakhand (This fall is near to Chopta but lies in Chamoli District and a trek of 5.5km from Mandal, which is about to 19km from Gopeshwar). It is about to 20Km by road from Chopta station and 5.5Km easy trek up to the Fall.
It is an easy trek, and then it takes about to almost 4 to 5 hours to reach Atrimuni Fall or Atrimuni Cave. The trek goes through scenic dense forest. The further route is for another famous trek known as Rudranth trek.
The last part of this trek (10 feet at last) is a bit tricky, to reach the mountain on which Atri Muni's cave is located. Yes, quite difficult or can say tricky, because you have to crawl between two rocks to reach the cave or behind this beautiful waterfall.
This waterfall is on the Amrit Ganga River which originates from a natural water source. Atri Fall is famed both for its beauty and as a valuable water source for Gopeshwar city
